Our company

From equipment supplier to project-delivery partner

Established in Bangladesh in 2011, SEDCOL has grown from a renewable-energy equipment supplier into an active participant in solar EPC, construction, installation, testing, commissioning and operation & maintenance across the country.

Today SEDCOL is a multidisciplinary project-delivery company supporting grid-connected rooftop and utility-scale solar projects — from site survey and engineering coordination through civil and electrical construction, installation, testing, commissioning and long-term operation & maintenance.

That evolution is reflected in the numbers: participation in more than 300 MWp of solar PV projects in Bangladesh, over 100 MWp of grid-connected rooftop systems, and a portfolio of more than 150 MWp under active operation and maintenance supported by eight field teams deployed nationwide.

From renewable-energy products to complex, utility-scale project delivery.

  1. 2003
    Solarland brand founded

    Renewable-energy manufacturing and solutions business established.

  2. 2007–2010
    Entry into Bangladesh

    Solarland products entered Bangladesh. IDCOL approval and development-finance support followed, with approximately 30% market share reported in 2010.

  3. 2011–2013
    SEDCOL established

    SEDCOL established in Bangladesh in 2011; expanded into complete project solutions and achieved major national sales growth.

  4. 2014–2016
    International recognition

    Quality-management development and entry into grid-connected rooftop solar and O&M.

  5. 2017–2020
    MW-scale delivery

    O&M expanded to MW-scale assets; participation in Teknaf 20 MW AC / 28 MWp DC, Mymensingh 50 MW AC / 73.8 MWp DC and Sirajganj 7.6 MW / 7.8 MWp projects.

  6. 2021–2023
    Public infrastructure & industrial solar

    Expanded across public infrastructure and industrial solar, including BEPZA, BSMRAU and the 22.69 MWp Meghnaghat rooftop project.

  7. 2024–2026
    Accelerating delivery

    Sirajganj 68 MW AC / 85 MWp DC (2024) and Pabna 64 MW AC / 84 MWp DC (2025) for BCRECL; NWPGCL 1.7 MW rooftop solar (2026).
